As with many types of floor and wall coverings tiles need to be fitted to a flat dry surface, this is to ensure the finish to your tiles is flat and smooth and throughout time no movement is allowed which can either crack your tiles or make them loose.
If your walls or floors in your property are uneven, but you would still like Granite, Stone, Slate or Ceramic tiles JPH Flooring LTD can prepare the area for you. For uneven surface area on a wall we would use a different type of adhesive, this will allow your tiles to be fitted to the highest stand possible with a flat and flawless finish. If the floor area you have chosen to have tiles fitted to in your property is uneven, we will either use a screed compound to level your floor, or lay ply board to give you a flat sub floor to which your tiles can be fitted to.
